It was a wonderful feeling of coming home, both in Valentano and in your apartment! It felt like I had never left. Everything felt very familiar, and I almost didn't regret our decision to move back to the Netherlands.

Hello Edwin & John,

We spent 2 wonderful weeks at your lovely apartment. Everything was present and very clean.
The view of the lake is fantastic and never gets boring. Valentano is a nice village with various coffee bars, bakers, butchers, a fish shop etc., and only a 10-minute walk away.

We made many trips in the surroundings.

Recommendations are definitely Sutri, Nepi, Tuscania, Palazzo Farnese. We also had delicious meals out at Da Gigetto, Il Pirata, Fra Viaco. Also a recommendation is to pick up fresh pasta at La Tortellina in the village.

All in all, a wonderful Italian holiday for us!

The week flew by! We really enjoyed your beautiful, clean and luxurious apartment. The view over the lake was also great! We are usually campers, but since a little girl is on the way, we chose something a bit more luxurious. We can get used to this.
We really enjoyed the charming villages around the lake. A day trip to Rome was also a must, of course.

Once again stayed in your apartment for the fourth time. That says a lot, and we still haven't had enough.
Especially the waterfalls in Umbria, Cascate delle Marmore, we found very special, a real must-see.
In Tuscania we visited the Basilica di San Pietro. Very impressive. In short, we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you very much!

We really enjoyed your lovely apartment! The view in particular!
We run a trustee office and had to do some work for a few hours in the morning. It didn't quite work out with the WiFi connection, which was regularly too weak, but that was the only downside. We had a fantastic week. It was so wonderful to encounter mostly Italians here! Rome was also an experience. We were stubborn enough to go by car. That worked out fine. Off we went, straight into the first parking garage and on foot to explore Rome.
A beautiful region, definitely worth a repeat visit!

A wonderful stay in your apartment! It is tastefully furnished and wonderfully spacious. In the morning we had breakfast on the lower balcony and in the afternoon a drink on the upper balcony. Both with beautiful views!
A day trip to Rome was great and easy to do by train. We enjoyed being the only foreigners among the Italian families on the beach at Capodimonte. For a bite and a drink we could easily go to the beach bars.
John and Edwin, I hope many more guests get to discover this!

Feel at home......

Well, dear John and Edwin, that's certainly been achieved!
What a lovely place, clean, cozy, with every convenience! It feels like home! We also had gorgeous weather, stunning little towns and delicious meals in Pitigliano, Proceno, Tuscania and Capodimonte. We ate wonderfully at Castello, Da Giggeto, and a few more! Temperatures around 32 degrees, with just an occasional ice cream in Capodimonte. We also took a dip in Saturnia.

Dear Edwin and John,

Our week in your beautiful apartment has flown by. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
We received lovely tips for good, cozy restaurants in nice places.

Two days in Rome were wonderful and easy to do by train!
Tip: a bike tour with a Dutch travel guide via Bajabikes and a guided tour of the Vatican are also highly recommended!

We had lovely weather. Compliments to the interior cleaner, because it was spotlessly clean. Also thanks to Eline for the tips and the warm welcome!

Edwin and John, it was great that we were allowed to stay a week in your apartment!

This is already the last evening of our holiday! We have been here since May 20th and how quickly the time has gone. Not a single second has been boring! Despite or thanks to the changing weather, we visited quite a few villages in the area and went to Rome 3 times by train from Montalto di Castro. We ate well in Bolsena twice at Eline's little place and twice in Capodimonte at Riva Blu.

The apartment was a wonderful place to stay! Nice decor and especially very complete, and of course a beautiful view from the balcony. We will miss it! Maybe we will come back someday.

Edwin and John, thank you for letting us use your apartment!

P.S. We still had nice weather the last 4 days.☺

Dear John and Edwin,

It got off to a great start two weeks ago with the friendly welcome from Eline and the delicious prosecco with a little salt. And what a time we had afterwards! We enjoyed the beautiful authentic Italian villages, the wonderful food on often idyllically located little terraces, swimming in the clean and warm lake, and the sun with perfect temperatures (25 - 30 °C). And relaxing on the balcony with the stunning view!

Thank you for letting us make use of your lovely apartment, and we wish you many more beautiful holidays in Valentano!

It is a wonderfully cozy apartment, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to Eline. What a great time we had with all the lovely little villages: Bolsena, Capodimonte, Pitigliano, San Lorenzo Nuovo, Aquapentente, Orvieto, simply wonderful!
We zoomed across the entire lake by boat, and everything looked so beautiful from the water!

Eline is truly a treasure and incredibly valuable with all her tips and helpfulness. She made a reservation for us several times, and we enjoyed her warm, sparkling presence. She really adds value to the apartment.

Lago di Bolsena has enchanted us, we will be back!

A lovely apartment and a fantastic location!
For us it was a bit like coming home. A few years ago we also stayed in the area, so we had already seen a lot.

It remains impressive, all the beautiful little towns and lovely nature. And especially not very touristy, which we really like.
We had delicious meals at the many restaurants you recommended. And of course we stocked up again on that wonderful olive oil for home, thanks to Eline. Thank you!

What a wonderful time we had at the apartment and in the beautiful surroundings! Honestly, the week was too short to see everything we wanted, but we managed to visit all the little villages around Bolsena, from the new houses to the old ones, beautiful!
